What an exciting Sunday Dr. Aiken and her Team had. Dr. Aiken and her team ran and walked the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure 5K. Here is a sneak peek at some of the photos from the event. We raced for all those who are fighting cancer and have beat cancer. We also raced for our own health. We believe it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Gum Disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis

New research has shown that there is a relationship between gum disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis. The bacteria which causes gum disease Porphyromonas gingivalis worsens Rheumatoid Arthritis. Patients who have periodontal (gum) disease have an increased likelihood of developing Rheumatoid Arthritis. Health Benefits of Tea

According to a new study, having three cups of black tea a day may reduce your risk of gum disease and dental decay. The ingredients in the tea help fight off the bacteria which cause dental decay and gum disease.
